Just told my future roommates about this site. Please don't be too weird y'all.

OMG

OMG

This is my dream lol
Once when I was about 10 we had 3 barn cats that showed up pregnant and all had kittens within days of each other. For a few months, we had 21 kittens in our house. It was glorious.

Music saving my sanity as I study tonight... crank it UP!

I like:

Invisibilia (NPR podcast that "explores the intangible forces that shape human behavior—things like ideas, beliefs, assumptions and emotions"). It's riveting and very emotional

The Adventure Zone - D&D podcast with three brothers and their dad. Hilarious and often takes left turns into really touching narrative moments

Radiolab - needs no explanation for why it should be on any podcast rec list, especially if you like science

This American Life is same as above, plus I love Ira Glass haha

(Most of these will be very common on podcast recommendation lists, I just feel like they need to be here for the sake of completeness haha)
I know the podcast conversation has slightly passed, but I checked out Lore and Crimetown this week and would also recommend both of them.

Lore is unsettling, atmospheric, and pensive. It explores legends, urban myths, true stories that have been warped by years of retelling, and stories that are simply true... but disturbing. Each episode is relatively short (usually 20-30 mins) and very well told.

I'm only an episode in, but Crimetown is electric and gobsmacking and a lot of fun. Recommend checking out if you like mob stories, compelling character studies, and feisty music.
