ranking kaplan FL difficulty

There's a thread around where people ranked the difficulty of the AAMC practice tests from hardest to easiet (based on opinion of course).

What do people think about the Kaplan FL's?
For those taking the class, we are starting to take one each Saturday.

I agree with this. I got tons wrong on #3 and still somehow got a 29...

I just took FL 3 the other day, and got so frustrated with the PS section. I bubbled in 3 whole passages because I ran out of time. Timing's not generally a huge issue for me. Regardless, I got a 30 (9PS/9VR/12BS).

I think these two go hand in hand. I'd say the material on 3 was the hardest thus far (lots of pH and electrochemistry on PS section), which is why the scale is weighted more easily.

Well, yes. That was the point I was trying to make.

For instance, say I think an exam is hard and the scale didn't make up for the difficulty, I would rate that one more difficult than an exam I found difficult but had an easy scale.

Yeah, I agree with what's been posted. I have taken up to FL 3, which was the hardest, followed by 1 and then 2 (easiest). I should be getting my score soon, will see how it panned out. 🙂

I agree. Three was hard...but the scale was nice. I hope I can do as well on the real thing as I did on FL3.

FT 3 was hard but i guess because of the scale i did well except for i need to bring the VR by two points

The hardest was without a doubt FL4. Take a look at Kaplan's MCAT 45 and you'll understand why.

Agreed, the PS section on 4 was ridiculous. I was happy to come out of that with a 10.

The questions and passages were copied verbatim from the Kaplan 45 book (which is filled to the brim with the hardest questions imaginable).
