What are the criteria to be used for ranking? Most programs seem similar with regards to training and it is very subjective to rank them. Mid tier vs top tier ? Cost of living? General perception during the interview? Is there any site that gives ranking of programs in terms of reputation?

Go to a program in a geographic area you would like to live near(not necessarily the same city, but coast, state, etc)
Go where you liked the people and they liked you at interview. a place where you had good “chemistry”. Go where people seem happy.

Forget the reputation. Go to the place where you feel happy at. 4 years is a long time to be in a place where you don’t like the people. It’s not about the reputation at this point. It’s where YOU will be happy at and there’s decent volume for you to learn from.
