I think you might be right. I took the pm tablets, same stuff as Benadryl, diphenhydramine, for a while and I went through...like....withdrawals when I stopped taking it.
Me, too. Take it almost every night +/- melatonin so I can sleep.

I'm pretty sure I am having an issue with benadryl dependancy. I know it sounds crazy but I've been taking 50mgs of it almost every night due to allergies. It normally knocks me out. And now I'm laying here trying to sleep and I can't. Been this way for 3 days.
I'm ridiculous.

I have NEVER EVER EVER in my life been late to an exam I woke up this morning at 7:30 this morning for my exam that started at 7:30. 😱
I literally jumped out of bed through on some jeans and a bra grab a pencil and my formula sheet and run out the door, drove my car to campus. I normally take the bus which can take upwards of 30 minutes. Parked illegally in a reserved for this person space, and ran up three flights of stairs I got to the room at 7:55. Profusely apologize the professor he is like its okay calm down. Sit down and realize I dont have a calculator for a math exam, run to prof who manages to find a financial calculator for me to use. Took my exam first two questions I was likethen after i calmed down i realized I knew them.
Turn my exam in before some people who got there on time and the professor ask me if I has substantial time to finish it and told me I could take more if i had to.😍
All of that and I got a ticket for parking illegally and passing through lovely do not cross after this time barrier. A minor battle wound in the scheme of things

I took 3 melatonin pills last night. Fell right asleep at 11. Still woke up wide awake at 4 AM. I haven't been sleeping well at all. I think it's stress. I've had a horrible few months. I also noticed about 15 grey hairs the other morning. I'd found one or two a couple of times before but to notice that many at once makes me think I'm seriously stressing myself too much (PLUS I dye my hair every 6-10 weeks, so you've got to be a persistent ****er for me to notice you're grey).
I take 2 melatonin and a valerian root. I sleep really well with those. Without them, forget it.

today.Me, too. Take it almost every night +/- melatonin so I can sleep.
I've asked some people for advice and got "well, y'know, just swim" sorts of answers. To make things worse, I've got a time limit and if I miss that I probably won't be able to fix the problems it causes for at least a year, probably more like several years.
Time for me to go shower! You know its raining a lot when a 4 wheel drive truck gets stuck in the mud at the bottom of a "hill" after trying and failing five times to make it to the top. And you have to get another truck to come put the chain on and haul your butt out. Maybe today wasn't the best day for us to be mapping out our trail ride to see how many miles we rode the other dayTime for me to go shower!

Ugg I am dreading going out in the mud. I have 5 miles of dirt road before I get to 51. Do you go trail riding much around stilly?
It was more "dirt road riding" than trails. We were up in Glencoe, probably not too far from youIt was more "dirt road riding" than trails.
Ha I'm too scared of the drunk Glenconians to ride out on the dirt roads around here. Our house is on 360 acres that I ride on, but it gets kinda boring on the same land all the time. Husband's boss has another about 1500 acres, but I'm too lazy to hook up the horse trailer.

😱 I'm going to come over (all the way from Canada) and live with you and trail ride every day. Cool? Cool.

Can always use riding buddies, my horse is nutso though![]()
I decided to give ex-SO another chance a couple months ago.
Said SO breaks up with me today.

I really want to go crawl into a hole and die right now.
This is my second UTI in two weeks caused by some ongoing lady-problems I've been having (for which I'm going to see the doc next week). So twice now I've had to explain to people why I can't work or do X even though I'm not coughing up a lung or because of some other generic calling-in-sick reason. I had a coworker sweetly yet suspiciously (I.e. judging the crap out of me) ask my about my...hem...sexual habits and it's *super* humiliating because even though something like 70% of UTIs in women are related to sexual activity, mine are totally not... Maybe I'm just being too dramatic, but either way this blows.
Misery.

Apple juice? Cranberry pills?

I'm on it! I have a huge jug of cranberry juice and a carton of OJ. The LNP I just saw told me to eat lots of yogurt, too. I just tried the Chobani pomegranate flavor. Yum.
then I think.

Have you tried Azo? It is AMAZING! Eliminates that I hate being female feeling...
I used to get UTIs ALL THE TIME. I wasn't even sexually active when it started. I swear some people are just more prone than others. I started by making a point to drink at least 2 gals of water a day and peeing as SOON as I had to. I used to have a bad habit of holding it due to work and being busy and then BAM! UTI a few hours later. They're ALL awful and excruciating.
Do you ride a lot I'm really hoping that I can keep it up in vet school. Working and going to school full time now has really eaten into my riding time. I see my horse maybe twice a week right now. The upside of working is that I can afford to pay someone else to ride him. I've invested A LOT in his training and I really want to be able to still ride. I feel when I get into vet school because I'm so time strapped now when I stop working I may have more time on my hands then I think.

(Could care less about losing study time for ponies but the drive feels like a waste)
First year I didn't ride at all (But that was more lack of opportunity than lack of time) Since then I've been riding 3+ times a week most weeks. I'll skip crazy exam weeks and things like that but for the most part it's one of those things I MAKE the time for. The closer your horse is, the better off you'll be. I have to drive ~25 minutes away and its tough sometimes to get motivated to make the drive and lose an hour of study time. Donkey isn't enough motivation for you?

Not really a rant, but everyone else in my department is running at least Vista on their work PCs. How am I stuck with Windows XP? Who is 3 OSs behind nowadays?
Loving the 22" dual monitors....but XP....really.....

I was going to say the same thing.XP> Vista
Get D-Mannose. It's a miracle for me. A lot of times after particularly active weekends with my man, I'll end up feeling like I'm getting one (or getting one). I take 3 pills, 3 times a day and within a few hours of the first dose symptoms are going away. I've now honestly started to take one a day preemptively when I know we're going to be spending lots of time together. Seriously it's a great thing to just have on hand.
