Today is day 14 for me. The nose stopped about Day 10-11 for me, the cough lingered. Yesterday was the first where there was significant improvement. Today is my first day not medicated where I don't regret skipping the meds.
Is there any way to appeal your grade through your school? There’s a chance that since you were told wrong by the TA and she acknowledges this that, that the school might be able to do something

Are you calling or ordering online? Our old house used to be outside the delivery zones for every pizza place (and was actually in a decent sized town, just on the opposite end from all the pizza places) and delivery was never an option on the online ordering but if we called they’d always deliver no problem. It’s possible that they just remembered we tipped well and were like “well I’ll make the bit extra drive because I’ll get a good tip”
I would die without delivery.
The local dominoes stops delivery literally 1/2 mile down the street. We were joking we’d offer to meet them at the corner of the street to pick up the pizza
Yeah. I always get into arguments with myself whether that ultimate love of seclusion will be able to overcome the difficulty to keep food in the fridge and cooked for a party of one. haha
Lol my physics prof knows I applied to vet school since I've had to miss some class days. He goes "people don't know how hard vet school is to get into. It's harder than med school" And I swear to god the look of sadness on a pre-meds face and she just goes "oh what really? didn't know that"
I don't know, I think getting into any professional school is challenging and definitely nothing to sneeze at. I can promise I could apply to medical schools right now and not get into any of them because while I'm competitive for veterinary school that doesn't necessarily translate into being competitive for medical school even though one is ostensibly more difficult to get into. I think it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking about ourselves as vets vs physicians (or vs other healthcare providers), but I think this is where we sometimes fall into the fallacy of thinking that we are better at XYZ than other professionals are. I never want a physician trying to provide medical care to any of their pets even though they went through a rigorous and difficult program to become doctors, because their training is not appropriate for or within the scope of providing medical care for non-human animals. Similarly, I can't and shouldn't make medical decisions for humans, for the same reason. Veterinary school is difficult to get into. So is medical school. So is PT school, and pharmacy school, and dental school, etc etc etc.

Oh yeah I'm not saying I agree with him. I just think a lot of people wouldn't even think that vet school is hard to get into. I think a lot of people hold medical school as "the hardest" thing to do after undergrad and I don't agree with that. I'm pretty sure I could get into med school if I wanted to, but I don't want to.

Free trivia: I had no idea that clinic vs. hospital actually meant something different in vet med until I took my state boards. After graduation from vet school.
The local grocery store (wegmans) has this amazing prepared food section with seafood/chicken/beef/veggie entrees in single/double serving trays that all you need to do is stick in the oven. Not exactly cost effective but I love it. I stock the freezer with a bunch of them and defrost as needed. Saves me from trying to cook for 1 all the time or gives me a break from whatever crockpot meal I am trying to finish
