Been watching movies, and eating nutella and chips and salsa for hours. And crying. That's there, too. I don't know what's making today harder, but it is.
🙁

Well. A client at work had a thunder shirt she didn't ever wind up using that happens to fit my dog. We shall see how it goes. I also got her a treat ball that she has to roll to get some super super yummy treats out of.![]()

Something in the air today - I've been uber emotional too. Laaaame.
I'm with you guys, WEN and PP. I miss my boyfriend so so so much. Long distance is hard and very emotionally taxing. I talk to mine every night for about 30 min and that is it because we are both busy. He will be going to medical school next year, so I won't be able to live with him again for at least another 3.5 years.
But! We've been doing this for a year already. It is doable! Just look forward to breaks. When I am home, we spend every night together, so we at least get to see each other everyday. Send each other letters (via snail mail)- those are always fun and heart warming. Skype! See if you can plan weekend trips to visit (WEN). Keep yourself busy, it helps the time go by fast and keeps you from feeling in the dumps about the distance.
If you two ever need someone to talk to about long distance, feel free to PM me.
According to my maps app, mine is 1660 miles away. I missed his phone calls 20 minutes ago because of work. He texted me saying that his grandpa died. I really want to talk to him and make him feel better but I don't have a phone card anymore do I just have to hope he calls again. 🙁
I hate long distance relationships.
have a drink with me. Ha.
No relationship for me but I am over 5,000 miles away from my family and friends. I have been sitting alone in my flat for a few weekends now. Missing my support system, but it has definitely gotten much better with time. Last week I was an emotional mess this week I feel like I am settling in. One day at a time. 🙂
Me and my glass of scotch are waaaay ahead of you.

Update on my dog? No barking BOTH times I got home last night. I came home to check on her half way through the night and she was quiet, then when I got home super late (went out dancing/drinking with my bestie who's in town) no barking!![]()
It'll be ok. I've been drinking away the pain for the last few days. Boys are just stupid.
Brought my kitten's sister back now that she tested negative for FELV. Apparently they don't remember or like each other so in trying to separate them the sister somehow got this wire from the back of our gas stove wrapped around her neck and was literally strangling herself. I got clawed all up and down the arm by her and my kitten swatted me in the eye and gave me a pretty nice split in my lower eyelid. Awesome.

Cats just like to make things difficult for everyone. Sorry you got all scratched up.
I think my kf cat is just trying to hurt my feelings. She slept in the garage last night, like I couldn't be trusted to not torture her if she slept in my room. This morning gave her fluids and after she proceeded to scream at my door like I had beat her.

Yesterday one of my cats was sleeping in the dog's crate, which the dog hates. So the dog goes bounding into the crate to wake up the kitty. The dog is cerebellar and kind of a spaz in the first place, being a 1 year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, so in her craziness she gets her foot caught in between some of the bars of the crate. She is SCREAMING her head off, and I was trying to help her get her foot out, and she turns around and bites down on my hand HARD. In between her screaming and biting me (and urinating at the same time) I finally managed to get her foot out and she runs away (not even limping). Little witch.
My hand hurts. 🙁

There's a quote about crayons and boxes that seems appropriate here...
Unfortunate, though. At least it isn't like, surgery week and that's your suturing hand? Eh?
It's all the cat's fault, anyway. Damn cat.
Yeah, I did blame the cat actually. And we do have our first surgery labs next week but not any live animal labs yet.
It is my puckhandling and shooting hand though. 🙁
Oh noes, not the hockey!
So y'all start next week?
