I was thinking about that last night as I was on my way to sleep. I sorta pictured myself going through all the hell of pre-vet requirements, vet school (she's a 2012 Colorado grad), boards, internship, finding a job, starting to get some experience .... life is cruising along you're starting to feel comfortable in your job .... and then wham. You do one stunningly stupid thing and you're fired overnight, hated by the vast majority of people who hear about what you did, possibly facing license action, possibly facing criminal charges, likely going to have exceptional difficulty finding a job in the field you trained .....
What an incredible ****ty night she must have had last night.
I mean, she totally brought it on herself. To shoot the cat, post a picture, and then make such arrogant comments .... it's just baffling anyone could be so oblivious. Not saying she didn't bring it on herself. Just that ... wow ... she must be in a bad place today since her entire life just went out from under her. (At least, I would guess it did.) But, she totally earned it.
Just emphasizes how much veterinarians are under the microscope. Had that been some overweight gap-toothed redneck in a wife-beater people would hate on him a bit on Facebook but that would be it.
