When you graph the total vapor pressures of a mixture (two volatile solvents), does the line have to have a negative slope or can it be positive? Check out the picture below:

well, if A is a nonvolatile solute, then the slope will always be lower. if its volatile, it could go up or down depending on whether A is more or less volatile then B. someone correct me if i'm wrong
