I'm looking to get RR biochem. Is there much difference between the 2nd and 3rd editions? I would definitely like to save money getting the cheaper 2e if there's no big difference.

That being said, I like the format of the newer edition, and I Iike that the book is thinner and not a small fat akward thing that crowds up my backpack.
But then, I like in the older editions have the two tests (of 50 questions?) at the end. There are no questions in the back of the book of the newer edition. I assume they are all online, but I don't really like working of the system on that site.
I have the 3rd edition, and I torn the two tests out of the back of a used 2e and threw the rest away. Worked for me, lol.
Once you start talking about sources outside of First Aid, or Pathoma/Goljan RR path, its just too general to have any one opinion be correct.
Like, if I wanted to do some other members "method" for step, which could involve RR biochem, or CMMRS, it would be a complete waste of time for me to go through that, since I know those topics well/more then I would get out of the review.
Outside of those sources, its subjective, and there is no right answer, only what is right for you. If biochem is killing you, and FA isn't cutting it, search for outside sources.
