I love finding money that you didn't remember you had.

I once found $150 in birthday cards that I never took the money out of..... I always keep the cards for about a month and I was about to throw then out good thing I looked in them before I threw then away.
 
I love finding money as well!!!

Last night we had a social thing for my class and now I am totally pumped for school. All my classmates are really friendly 😀

Aw! I have a friend that has like 3 minis as well, they are all so cute! I was almost sold on getting one as my next dog, but then stuck with what I know and got a sheltie.

Almost forgot my awesome rave! Finally got to re test my kitten for felv after her accidental exposure and she's negative! I could not be happier. 😀😀

My rave: I LOVE my big/mentor. She is just freakin awesome. On my first day yesterday, she left me this huge bag of goodies next to my mailbox and inside was a "first year survival kit"...complete with lots of chocolate, individual bottles of wine, bandaids, febreeze, tylenol, and whatever else I can't think of right now.

Oh and so far, classes aren't too bad. 😀
 
All the bigs today got the littles goodie bags for after our first anatomy test. It was amazing to see all the gifts lined up on top of our mailboxes.
 
Small rant first: They are redoing the city street in front of our house. So, sometimes when I will be wanting to sleep, there will be loud machinery 😡


Now for the rave!!

Most of the construction workers are HOT!!! And I get to watch them for about a week!! 😍😍

I have the best 2nd-year buddy ever. 😀 I have the most comprehensive, best-organized box-o-notes of anyone. Also, she's pretty cool. 😉
 
We might be neutering a whole bunch of meerkats at the zoo today!!
 
Forgot to post this yesterday.

So I'm a single doggy parent now, and I don't even have a roommate anymore to help when I can't get home to let her out. Well BOTH of my jobs now have said she is welcome to chine with me!!!! 😍

So the only time she can't come with me is when I'm in class :biglove:

Em, I'm starting my pig research next week! 😍

Starting out with the piglets and keeping them until they are about 60 lbs. Mostly just little piglets though!

They are still interviewing at the vet clinic I applied to, but they want me to come in on Monday for a half-day to shadow the receptionists. 😀

Also, I have been communicating with the person who is looking to hire an educational assistant. They have been asking me questions and I think they are interested in me as well.

*sigh*

There goes some of my stress for my time being. 😀

I don't know which would be better... vet receptionist or educational assistant. Vet receptionist would give me some great skills IF I ever get an interview to vet school. Plus, I would get paid a little bit more and receive great benefits. But... helping someone with their classes and getting to audit biology classes for free? That is appealing to me as well.

Ahhem, so do some small animals. 😉 And it's sacrilege to say you don't like pigs! 😱 They are really just oversized dogs. (they really are, especially when you really get to know certain sows. They definitely have personalities.)😀

I used to work with a doctor whose Visla (omg talk about a nutty dog!) would pee in his run, then drink it off the floor. He was just...bonkers.

Pigs weird me out a little - I've never worked with them tho!

Also, I survived my first week of vet school! Although my nasty sniffly icky cold has morphed into something resembling whooping cough, and I think I'm going to be spending a lot of extra time in the anatomy lab this weekend. But I survived! And I am drinking a beer, finally, and taking the night off.

....But ended up at the ER tonight because she's been limping. Rads were negative. Keep your fingers crossed for a soft tissue injury!!! What a sweetheart...

No, It is not. I really do not like pigs. I also am not very fond of birds. We got to milk dairy cows today. It was a very messy job, but I actually enjoyed it, much better than pig farming, IMO.
