Got my first ever 100% on an exam in Vet school.

Ok it was in our class for the fewest credits.
And it is only worth 30% of our grade, so it is basically the least important exam so far... but still....

Might as well enjoy it for a few seconds...

OK TIME'S UP. Gotta catch up on all the missed classes now. 😀

We only have 2 days for Thanksgiving... And have Anatomy lab scheduled until 5 on Wednesday!

my parents noticed last night that my piggie had yucky eye goobers in her right eye and promptly made an appointment with an exotics vet for today 😍 she has a corneal ulcer 🙁 but it is so very nice to know she is in such good and loving hands (who are also willing to spend money on her) 🙂 silly guinea pig! 😍
 
Rave: I learned to swim like a real human being today! I have a friend who's a swimmer so she taught me to actually swim. I didn't suck quite as badly as I thought I would, but I also inhaled water a good dozen times so...
Rant: Getting out of the pool I smashed my knee into the stairs into the same place I've smashed it many times. It hurts like woah and I am displeased. Although it did give me personal excuse to not go to botany and spend 3 hours in the freezing cold rain.

I had so much fun last night! My ankle is worse and I have a huge headache still, but it was so worth it!

Also, I know I'm engaged and all and Luke Bryan isn't the cutest guy, but... God, he's a sexy man on stage. Great butt in those jeans and his dancing was hmmmm.

Never really understood the having a crush on a celebrity/singer/actor/etc. but might have changed my mind last night. 😉
 
My friend won a meet and greet with him the other day. Not a big fan myself, but still cool for her. She was in heaven when she met him lol

I wish. 😀

A guy was pulled onto the stage to learn "how to shake it" and he told him afterwards to come backstage with his friends for a beer.

I wasn't a big fan before besides just listening to his songs whenever they came up but figured why not go to his concert as my first one. And man, he can shake it! 🙄

Seeing as I barely have any fun lately, my friend and I decided to go to more concerts together to let out our frustration with school and work by singing and dancing there. :laugh:

I went to Jason Aldean's tour in August and Luke Bryan was there. I don't mind his music but I think he's rather cocky.

Where did you go? I love 43rd Street Deli and I've heard good things about Peach Valley although I haven't been there.

Rave:
Grandpa is awake and apparently had a pretty severe personality change 😏. They found he also had a stroke and think it all kicked his dementia into overdrive. My dad said he is absolutely hilarious to be around and laughs his butt off at everything :laugh:
I guess you might as well be happy on your way out lol. The guy next to him was screaming in pain yesterday and he just started giggling and laughing about it. 🙄 He is seeing things and thinks people are there that aren't. But he's happy and doesn't know any better so it makes me feel better.

Uh, this is both a rant and a rave. I ran a 5k today and it was so hard. High altitude, steep, rocky terrain. I was running pretty slowly. And during the last 1/4 mile I rolled my ankle and ate it. Big time, it's really swollen now.

Why is it a rave? Because I freaking finished this hard ass run! Got a private tour at the rescue zoo it was at. And I even sprinted that last bit on my injured ankle. LIKE A CHAMP!

Should be a fun day at the zoo today! Shearing the last remaining llama, introducing our new fennec fox to his new girlfriend so they can make tiny fennec fox babies (!!!!), and moving the new snow leopard to her new exhibit. Yay fun day!

And better than my day.... pathology exam in morning... mandatory boring lectures in afternoon, and arguing with a fool August West on SDN.

I slept very well last night even though I studied late. And I passed my bio test (woohoo) which puts my grade at a B thanks to my homework and clicker grades.
 
No matter how poorly it went, it is always a good feeling when you finish an exam, and have 10 days to get ready for the next one! 😎

10 days to learn how to suture. Taking bets on how many times I stab myself before the exam.:laugh:

sutures aren't bad. Youtube is your friend.

As I always do my research prior to placing any bets (with the exception of horses - I go by name and how 'good looking' the animal is) I would like to know a couple of things. What type of sutures are you being tested on and what 'medium' have you been provided with for practice?
