They usually stand up pretty well now unless she's upset, tired, etc, but one hear turns back at the very tip a little bit and I really want it to stay that way. it's so cute.
 
Got home from work, opened mail, saw my 94% test score on exam 1 of 5 in the class I'm freaking out about. I won't know exams 2&3 for a week or two (the ones I pretty much failed) but it feels a little more cushiony knowing I have an A on one of them. And I'm gonna rock the last two!!

I wasn't worried about the first one. I knew I had at least a B on it, but the other two I promise are terrible. Unless my guessing skills are uncanny good. Just happy to have a little cushion 😀

my old one was a lenovo T61 so i am long in love with the brand 😍 i do need to get a copy of office and get my notes all organized digitally! ughh i wish i could just wave a wand and point!
 
I worked at another clinic location last week and apparently made a good impression. They want me to transfer there. The techs loved me and the practice manager spoke highly of me. I get to be out from under Dr. B. I'm just sad it won't be with the clients I've worked hard for.

It's our anniversary today and we watched 21 Jump Street, ate subs, and are drinking dessert wine (there was other stuff, too). All in all, a good day.

I'm sure it's tough to bond with patients and clients and work hard on their treatment and then just leave. You will get to help even more families now 🙂. How far from your house is the new location?
And I'm assuming you are going for it?

I don't know if it is for sure. I'm also not sure I have a choice. 30 minutes from the apartment.

I'm glad you had a good experience with rave reviews, dyachei!

I had my first horseback riding lesson today. My instructor is awesome, and a fellow SDNer was there for moral support. I can't wait to keep learning!

You are so lucky!! You should drop by the Robot Chicken booth. Seth is my old boss. I was lead lighting tech for the show until deciding to get on with my veterinary desires 😀

I have no idea what a lead lighting tech does but that sounds like an awesome job. I love Seth Green's movies but never really got into Robot Chicken. Seth Green is adorable.

I provided the lighting in the majority of the skits and was second in command to the Director of Photography. Seth is indeed a marvelous being. No greater nerd-geek on earth! :bow:

I got to castrate my first kitty today! i studied for hours last night. anatomy books, surgery texts, videos, suture stuff...:laugh: all paid off though, that was so awesome!

Got my hair cut and dyed to today...It is much darker and much shorter.

My hair used to go half way down my back and now it just goes barely past my shoulders, it is also a very dark brown with just a slight hint of red. I love the color.... It will take me some time to get used to the length, but I like it. 🙂

I'm going this too when I get enough cash saved up. Hopefully, in the next 2 months. I also need glasses, but I think hair is first. :laugh:

My rave: Everyone at the clinic surprised me for my birthday! I got a chocolate cake that looks like a caterpillar and a card and a little kid's "my first veterinary" set thing. xD I'll try to find a pic online when I'm not on my phone. It was totally unexpected and completely fantastic!

I'm at no income right now and it is scary. It was okay when I was staying in limbo with my parents, but now we've got rent and utilities and eating, but we have very little money and none coming in yet. (Weddings are super expensive, but it was worth it). It'll all work out when you get financial aid.
