I have off until Friday!! Spending it at home with my family and will fit some Pokemon time in while I also work on my tech CE presentation.


Down side for having off, I work O/N NYE which means I can't go to the Gogol Bordello concert I wanted to attend.
 
We have some clients with an older dog that really likes me. They schedule all of his appointments when I'm working (he's in a lot) and always triple check that I'm going to be there, and I love them for it. Always makes my day when they come in.

Wristcutters (good, weird, quirky movie) has a Golgol track in it that gets stuck in my head like once a week. Also has freakin' Tom Waits in it (as an actor with a role). Highly recommend.
 
My in-laws just restored my faith in humanity. I've been asking for years for people to donate to my favorite charity instead of getting me things for Christmas. I just got an email from my mother-in-law saying that she donated!!!!

Hello fast turn around on my loans while trying to apply for an IDR plan. Not only did they put it in a one month forbearance while they processed everything but I submitted the forms on Monday before I left work and was told I qualified for REPAYE today. Now my payments are down from $3100+/month to $115. Was hoping for a lower amount, but that's much more manageable.

OMG this should be a rant but I'm putting it here. I somehow convinced my fiance to watch Gilmore Girls (we started like a year ago). We watch an episode almost every evening while eating dinner and we're halfway through Season 5. He wants me to wait to watch the new ones so we can watch them together for the first time! It's sweet, but man I am not sure I can wait for us to finish...

It was soooo good! :biglove: I would have liked to have seen more of certain characters, but it was great they got so many of the originals back (including a few surprises!), and there were plenty hilarious and heartwarming moments. There definitely needs to be a part 2 with how it ended!!! (I won't spoil anything!)

Crazy, I was wondering last night: "Would Jilary approve of this music at this time?" Actually, come to think of it, all my decision making starts with "Would Jilary..." You wear the pants in this relationship and we're not even dating 🙄.

I wear the shoes though.

Minor raves: SO and I decorated our first tree together! And I lunged my horse to the right!! (OTTB, ponied on the track for a decade, I'm relearning how to lunge as well... a combination for poor lunging - it's a work in progress).

My last mare hated lunging with ever ounce of her being. I may have been dragged across the arena once or twice. It took me forever to get her to be solid on the lunge line and I totally cried when she finally got it lol

It has begun! My mom texted to see if I work today because she's concerned about me driving in snow. Last year the first big snow started while I was at work (15 minutes from home) and she almost didn't want me to come home because she was worried. 🙄 I'm not that bad of a driver, I swear.

Hi! Sorry for taking so long to reply! Havent been great with checking this forum regularly lately. I'm at UGA! I honeslty don't know a whole lot about what ill be doing in the internship. I know that they breed them there, and supposedly we get to help out with ultrasounds and such. I'm still pretty new to the horse world tbh! I worked in a stable over the summer, but none of those horses were very active- they were all old and basically just went between their paddocks and their stalls. So the Clydesdales will be a new experience!
