Yes and they fill up FAST. I think fall of 2028 spots will open in May of 2027, and spring of 2029 will open September 2027. (I think)

yeah i heard it's super hard to get it, but hopefully if i try to get on there asap when it opens i can snag a spot. is it first come first served or do they select you based on your experiences etc?

Same, I LOVED my ASNA rotation.
First come first served. No recerences/experiences, just $25 for the application and an optional $200 if you want to stay in their dorms for two weeks. Otherwise you find your own accommodations.

The dorm is worth it, saves so much $!
I drove there instead of flying and having a car was super convenient, but obviously not everyone is going to want to drive 10+ hours to get to their next rotation
but if you can, I recommend it!

Yup, paid for and secured. The rotation I got was actually my second choice; my friend has one in March and I was trying to line it up so we could split the driving. I looked at taking the train but it would be 48+ hrs. So I’ll likely fly unless someone else nearby is going and wants to share the load.The dorm is worth it, saves so much $!

I am very beholden to my to do list. I made a comprehensive list of tasks I need to do to be ready for the midterm on Monday. I finished that list today, and I don't know what else to add to it— but I feel weird finishing studying a day early because I know all my peers are spending the whole weekend studying. But I LOVE finishing a to do list.

At least when I was there, people were pretty good about those with cars helping out with adventures for everyone else. It's definitely not a city with significant public transit, though there's also always Uber!
Finally the week of Steel Ball Run after 6 months of waiting!!!!!!! 🏇🌵🎱

Today the new house got sod! Now we just need it to rain, and luckily the forecast in my area has two waves of rain on the next week’s forecast after literally weeks of crazy heat and dry weather.
The exterior is 98% complete…just need to stain the front door, finish trim around the porch posts, and hang the lanterns next to the door.
Cabinet construction was delayed so the interior has been on a standstill, but cabinets are supposed to be ready tomorrow and installed next week.

accomodations are god sent. i have never felt so good walking out of an exam. oh my god. that was my first time ever using any accomodations and it was tailored specifically to my ADHD-induced anxiety!! i could actually recall the things i learned, and use scratch paper to draw it out. i know it may sound silly, but i could cry right now. this has just totally changed my life. just wow.

Yay! That is so amazing. 😍 Good job getting the accommodations you need. Curious, do the exams that don't have accommodations not allow scratch paper?! What is the regular formatting of these exams? I am taking organic chemistry right now and I cannot imagine not having scratch paper allowed.

At least at WSU most exams not only allow scratch paper but provide it for you! I can't think of an exam off the top of my head where scratch paper was not allowed
I feel like we had scratch paper provided at Illinois too. Where else am I going to write down the question numbers that I wanted to go back and stare at for an extra 10 minutes and not change my answer?!
in my excitement, i don't think i worded that correctly haha. everyone is provided with scratch paper! unfortunately for me, i need to literally draw everything out and write full blown essays on the sides explaining what is happening. that takes up about 50% of the exam time itself, but if i do not write it down like that it's as if i never learned it at all. so what i meant was that i had adequate time to draw everything out the way i need to, and take my time with each question, and complete it all without feeling rushed or me getting sloppy with reading/guessing.

That makes complete sense!! I am glad you got accommodations so you have time to be able to draw everything out. I hear you on that. Drawing things out and writing takes a lot of time, then all of the sudden there are three questions left and only 10 minutes! Proud of you!
