I'm studying for my DAT using Ari's plan, and from the beginning I've been using my university's academic search to read various journal articles (includes abstract, methods, data, discussion...etc.) that interest me. I just took a look at Ari's actual suggested articles though and they are more like blogs or newspaper articles. Reading these types of articles for practice would obviously be less time consuming, so I'm wondering—does the actual DAT RC use "real" scientific journals or "blogs" like Ari has posted (e.g. from Scientific American)?

They dont really use actual journals(at least I dont think so). I would stick with the scientific american. But truthfully, any kind of reading helps.
