Re-applying and getting in?

hey you'all...

I want to see some light/hope in my life..

do you know any INSPRING stories about re-applying (or retaking DAT for second time etc..) and got in and happily-ever-after stories???

I already applied but I'm thinking about re-applying..

Any interesting, "oh my god, I can't believe he/she got in!" stories?? 😛

every story is an "oh my god, i can't believe its not butter". you never know what adcoms are going to accept. you'll hear the 4.0, 28 DAT rejected from harvard, then you'll hear the 2.9, 17 that got in somewhere.
i'm a reapplicant. plain and simple, i'm just bringing more to the table next cycle; better academic stats, more extracurriculars/experience, more shadowing, etc.
anyone else with some thoughts?

I have a friend who had 3 interviews and no acceptances the first time he applied. He re-applied, had 1 interview and got accepted.

Applied first year...one interview...didn't get accepted
Second year applying...not even a single interview from 17 schools
Third year applying (this year)...three interview so far, no acceptance yet
Moral of the story? Keep on trekking! Maybe they just feel bad for me this year since they keep rejecting me..he he he..

good to hear... I am a reapplicant, and I only had one interview so far, and 1 rejection (only applied to 7 schools)... I hope to God that I get in.. I really dont want to do this all over again.
