Re-scheduling UNLV interview - why are they being sketchy?

Since so many of you have been kind enough to share which dates you are giving up, those of us that are still fighting for an accepatance appreicate it but what is going on with UNLV?

Last week when everyone was canceling stuff right and left I tried calling and the woman told me that they do not have anything earlier open and that you just have to wait and hear or keep trying to call back. I didn't want to say hey I know you do because I just read 5 posts about it! but seriously even talking with others through pm even those people that call minutes after someone cancels don't end up getting the interview...

are others really calling before and picking up these newly empty days OR is UNLV not filling these empty days and if so WHY? because I would really like to interview there and hopefully not for a waitlist spot.

the same thing happened to me last week when i called. I called 8 minutes after someone cancelled the interview on a specific date, and i even told the lady the specific date and she said there was no opening. i try not to call all the time because i know it is annoying sometimes, but it is also important to get an earlier date. so, when is your interview?

It may be the case the staff members just don't want to reschedule because that would be more work for them.

Or it may be the case they just hadn't had a time to process all the cancellations.

I believe all admissions offices have been doing a lot of work for Nov 30/Dec 1 acceptance/rejection letters, so they are probably swamped with everything else that they need to catch up with. I am only guessing though 🙂😉🙄
