I just received my PHARMCAS calculated GPA. I highly encourage you to double check every single thing on the calculation. Just a quick glance and I spotted two MAJOR errors that significantly lowered my GPA. I have already contacted them and they did agree that they had made the mistakes. Do not leave your chances to get into pharmacy school in the hands of some $10.00/hr data entry clerk plugging in numbers.

I am amazed at the obvious error and that it was not caught...except by me.

Obviously, as future pharmacists looking for possible errors will be a big part of your job....start checking for them now in your calculated GPA.

👍

In Dispensing, the pharmacist tells us to never assume that a prescription is correct.

Ah! That's crazy. You are really smart for doing that. I probably should have done that too, but I was accepted so I dont care at this point. Good luck on your apps! 👍

QFT - Its your future...

hey can anyone please tell me what is the PharmCAS for? do all of the prospective pharm students need to go there before starting the applications?
thanks.

If they do everything right, their calculated GPA should differ from your own by about .04-.05. It'll be lower because they include stupid grades in their scale like AB and BC that your school likely doesn't use.

Only if the schools where you are applying participate in PharmCAS.
