Hi everyone, I've been reading a lot of threads regarding the RC part. Most of you mention the SnD method. I tried to search and read more about this method, but I can't figure out how to do it exactly. Some of you mentioned in previous comments that you read all the questions first then you search for the answers. I tried this strategy and it didn't work with me since I'm a slow reader. However, I need to ask if any of you tried to read one question at a time and answer it, then go for the next question, etc.. Do we have enough time to do that on the test??!

The only strategy I've been using is to make a roadmap first then to tackle the questions. However, I still can't get a high score using it. Thanks!

I use a combo of SnD and the Kaplan road map technique. I would jot down key words about the first 3 questions and then start road mapping the passage and answer the first three questions as I went along. After answering those 3 I would then do the same thing to the next 3 questions and see if anything I read already can answer those. I do it and I usually have 5 minutes to spare.

Have you tried just reading the passage first and then answering the questions? Try it out on a bootcamp test, you may not need a "strategy".

My strategy was to spend about 8 minutes reading each passage - writing down key words, names, weird terms that I thought could be used in questions for each paragraph. And then spend the remaining 12 minutes answering the questions / using SND. I think the most helpful strategy I saw from SDN threads was the writing key words down. It makes SND a lot easier. But in the end, I would just recommend taking more and more practice sections and finding/developing a strategy that works the best for you.

I read one question at a time and did it that way and had 2 minutes left at the end and scored a 24 so it can be done!
