Undergrad (BME) at Top Uni: 3.9+
Masters (BME) at Same Top Uni: total 4+ yrs research including undergrad, 5+ pubs
MCAT: 36 (expired), retaking and expecting around 39

A few years ago, I made the mistake of applying to MD and MD/PHD programs rather late even though I was pretty set on doing an MS. Result was very few interviews and no offers. I'm set on applying to MSTP, MD/PHD, and MD programs this time around.

How much of an impact will ReApp status have and how are much chances with the status?

I don't think it will be a problem in your case, especially if you get 39.

because 60% of applicants re-apply (atleast for the MD). There are people on this forum that re-applied to MD/PhD. They did fine, you have great stats. Did you go to Penn btw?

Can only help. It certainly doesn't hurt.

You sound like you're in pretty good shape to me, assuming that 36+ MCAT score. You are a US citizen or permanent resident right? Of course don't discount the other factors like essays, some amount of clinical volunteering/shadowing is recommended, interview, LORs, etc...
