I know that withdrawing prior to submitting secondaries makes one a reapplicant since the primary was received, and I just want to know how much does this affect this years application as I gear up to submit?

Some will ask about it.

My apologies, I should have been more precise with the wording. I had withdrew my app last year before submitting secondaries and wanted to know if it will negatively impact me this time around?

There are schools that limit the number of applications.
This can be as few as two applications, even if you did not submit secondaries.

As said before, it will vary by school. It is a proxy of your decision-making. We don't know why you withdraw, but giving AMCAS (and not "our school") donations says nothing significant. It could be a family problem or an emergency, or it could be you had cold feet (Runaway Bride)... we can ask you later.

I hope so. I only worry because I must answer “yes” on amcas when prompted if I had previously applied.

I have tried my best in updating my experiences and personal statement to ensure being a reapp doesn’t hurt me.

Many schools get their "best" students in the re-applicant pool.
