I'm just wondering what considers as a re-applicant. I sent in my AMCAS application materials before I took my MCAT and received secondaries from some medical schools. Once I received my MCAT score, I realized that my score was too low so I withdrew from all the medical schools. Would I be considered as a re-applicant even if I didn't submit my secondaries?

Yes, you will be marked as a re-applicant as long as you have previously submitted one or more AMCAS applications.

If you withdrew before your transcripts were verified, you would not be considered a reapplicant.

would I be considered a re-applicant at the schools that I submitted my application to or at all medical schools? Also, even if I explained my situation (submitting the AMCAS before my MCAT and then withdrawing my application), would I be less likely to be accepted if I wasn't a re-applicant?
