Reapplying after Medical Masters at HBCU

I was recently accepted to a Medical Masters at a HBCU. The program is designed so you can attend the MD program the next year, assuming excellent performance.The only issue I’m having is that the MD program is quite expensive compared to my state institutions.Does anyone know if trying to apply to my state schools after said program makes prudent sense? I’m from FL and the program is at Meharry.
