Quick question..are aunts and uncles considered immediate family ??

Asking cuz i need a rec letter from an md or do, and i was thinking of my aunt but the school will not accept letters from immediate family

I think so, but I may be wrong. Call the school is the best way.
 
If your aunt has the same last name as you, I would really not have her write a letter for you. While she may know you really well, I could see a lot of admissions boards questioning the objectivity of the letter. If you haven't shadowed a physician or worked with one closely, I would consider asking one of your personal doctors to write the letter for you. Good luck!
