recommendation letter issue help!!

hey guys so recently i asked a professor i had last year if he could write me a letter of recommendation for a program i wanted to apply to at my school. He replied back and said sure no problem just email him an unofficial transcript and the program's form. I did that and then he replied out of curiosity what program it was. I told him it was for an integrated medical school classes program (my school lets us take med school classes if accepted) and then i haven't heard from him since. Its been like 2 weeks, i don't know if i should send him a follow up email bothering him or not.. what do i do??

You could email asking him if he needs anymore information from you to write a great letter. How long until it's due?

I would always send a thank you note about 4 weeks after asking for the LOR. It's a nice way of saying "hurry up!"

Totally. I definitely did this with my med school recommendation letter writers and it helped push them to get them in by the due date.

You could email asking him if he needs anymore information from you to write a great letter. How long until it's due?

well the due date isnt for another 2 months but i don't know if he suddenly had a change of heart or something. Im just really worried he might change is mind and tell me like 2 weeks before the due date 😕

Well there's nothing you can do really but send a thank you/reminder note and maybe ask someone else, too if you really think he's bailing.
