I am planning to submit my aadsas in June. I will have everything ready for completion by then such as transcripts, required recommendation letters etc.

At the beginning of July, I will be starting a new job and I feel that if I got a letter from my supervisor, it would be very helpful. If I asked him to write and submit a letter of rec in August, would dental schools still take a look at this letter?

Would sending an extra letter in August after the school receives all required materials in June be a bad idea and considered late?

Thank you!

why do you think the letter will be helpful if you will have only been working under your supervisor for a month? and it would probably be considered late if you already have all the required letters in (profs and dentist)

Some schools allow you to send extra letters to them personally. So if you don't get any offers for interview yet I see no harm in sending in an extra letter to just boost your application .

Yeah I would recommend just having your supervisor email it or mail it to each of the schools instead of uploading on aadsas, most if not all schools allow that. And you don’t have to rush it, you can even have him send it after your interview and it will still be fine and they’ll still read it.
