I emailed to ask my research professor for a rec. letter. When he replied back, he only mentioned part of my email about coming back in to research for the fall semester. Should I ask him again about the letter or the fact that he didn't mention about the letter is a way of saying "no"?

Rather than asking through an email, I physically walked up to my reference letter writers and asked them if they would consider writing a letter on my behalf.

IMO, I feel that asking in any other way could hinder you in getting a definite, resounding "yes" answer from your writers.

Send him another email asking only the question "Is it okay If I send the LOR request form from Pharmcas now?'

Trav has a good point. I've always asked my potential references face to face. because it only shows you are committed and really value the letter enough to make an effort to formally ask them. Good luck!

Okay thanks for the advice, Ill have to go into his office I guess when school starts even though my first application is due in November..:scared:
