Two of the doctors that i shadowed want me to write the recommendation letter for my medical school app and they will simply sigh off on it after they make some adjustments. I was wondering if there are any sample recommendations that are present of SDN or maybe you can provide me with your letters so i can understand what i should include. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

But for what its worth, I have never seen a "sample" LOR posted on SDN, but people like LizzyM has given a rundown of what a basic letter includes and there are several "how to guides" out there on the internet. Search google or search the forum and you will find more than anyone will ever post in this thread.

You should not get letters from doctors you shadowed unless it was for a very extended period of time or you worked/volunteered for them in some other capacity.

Tell me what will be the disadvantage? It's for a committee letter not directly to the amcas app
