red Xs and mismatched email

OK - I submitted/certified August 24th and recieved an email about a week later saying my payment went through, blah, blah, they will let me know when my application is verified, blah, etc.. Now, just today I got THE SAME EMAIL. At first I thought "you're kidding me, they just received my application NOW???" but then I realized that I have recieved two secondaries, and letter from schools saying they got my name and address and know that I am applying - so some information was transmitted. I went to the application itself and saw... red Xs!!! Three of them, I think, transcripts, course work and something else. My question is, should I expect to see all red Xs before I am verified? (I know... I am not worthy to go ahead of those who submitted in July - I can only imagine your frustration - ever think about skeet shooting?) Could it be that they sent me the wrong email? I could spend an hour on hold waiting to speak to a specialist about this, but I figured someone out here likely has been through the same thing. Thanks for any info!

I appled June 30th and still have not been verified !.. called amwaste and was on hold for TWO hours and then they said 'opps sorry our system is down, call back later "... !.. enough said ... we are gonna get screwed royally by these *****s !..

To tell you the truth, I posted this question because my curiousity about my situation only barely outweighed the guilt and empathy I feel for people who submitted weeks before me are are being screwed. If it makes you feel any better, I was an August MCAT taker, so they won't be looking at my stuff until the end of October anyway. In situations like this, my husband and I have an imaginary rocket we put together to send to the center of the sun, staffed with our least favorite people, usually celebrities. For example, that possum-like girl on the pepsi commercials, Carrot top and Jerry Falwell. It helps somehow to imagine these people at the controls as the rocket edges closer and closer to certain combustion... So next time you think of the president of SCAMCAS, or that blond welche's grape juice girl for that matter, add them to your rocket ship. It doesn't make for good Karma, but its great entertainment.

I think all you get is 3 red X's. That's all I have.I submitted on 8-21 and got processed yesterday. Today, I got the email saying I successfully submitted<???>, but I also got another one saying my application had been processed. If you already have secondaries, I wouldn't worry too much.

This is totally not aimed at those of you who submitted and were quickly verified because you are totally not at fault, but DAMN, I submitted on 7/13 and I am nearing the THREE month mark. I don't remember who came up with it, but 'SCAMCAS' seems to be the best description conjured up yet. Calling them on the phone is a complete waste of time. Short of threatening lawsuit, I don't think there is anything to be done...
