Hey everyone,
I asked my physics professor to write me a letter in May, and he seemed pretty enthusiastic about it and agreed to do so this July. However, I emailed him three weeks ago, again last Monday, and left a voicemail last Wednesday, and still have not heart anything from him.
My friends suggest that I should find a backup, and assume that he won't write me a letter. However, I already graduated university, and I really don't have another professor that knows me. I took physiology last summer, got an A+ in the class, and spoke to the professor very briefly in office hours. This professor doesn't know me at all, but I don't feel like I have any other options.
Does anyone have advice? I live two hours away from my university, but would it be a good idea to offer to take this professor out for coffee and get to know her?
Thanks!
