Did anybody else get one? I've already been accepted to MCPHS boston as a P1 student, so I'm not sure if I'll be attending as there fully accredited and regis isn't. Denver seems like a nice place to relocate though.

congrats on your interview invite. I applied in nov and haven't heard anything. when did you submit your app? and what date is your interview for?

I applied a couple of months ago, and recieved an invite last friday for an interview in Feburary 2nd or was it the 4th. Whats are your thoughts and impressions of the school?

I grew up in denver so I know a lot about the school and area.

Regis is a average program, with a decent PT school and (as you know) a new pharmacy program. the 2009/2010 cycle is their first year with the pharmacy school. they were going to open up one year earlier, but chose not to becuase they did not want to rush and did not feel prepared for pre-can. status.

I have not personally visited the schools pharmacy department yet, so I could not tell you about the facilities or teachers. I heard that some of their professors are from university of colorado's school of pharmacy which is a great program.

Also, they use a unique type of pharmacy curriculum. They do team based learning, in which you work with a group of pharmacy students in most of your classes and you get assigned projects and various task. I dont know specifically or exactly how the team based learning works, but when their admissions rep came to my school to talk about it, he said their pharmacy curriculum is new and different than most pharmacy school, (becuase of the team based learning.)

Regis is in an ok area of denver. it's not close to downtown, but it is within a 20 min drive from the major areas of interest. the school itself is small, and has a pretty nice look. they are D2 in sports also.

well that's my take on the school. Also you know it's a Jesuit program. I would say regis should be your back up plan, and not a primary choice, becuase it is a very new program, and is an average school in it's other areas of curriculum, which means it will probly be an average pharm school in the future. I applied their as a back up to university of colorado's pharm school. Also, the tution their is 30k, which I personally believe is too high for the program they are advertising, but they are private so this price should be expected. I'm sure there are some current regis students on here that might be able to put in their opinion. But that is my impression of the school.
