Rejection by dec 1st or by the end of cycle?!

If we dont get an interview by Dec. are we gonna get rejected by schools on Dec 1st? Or the rejections will go out at the end of the cycle, summer? I wanna know if the applications are going to be under review after Dec if we dont get an interview by then or not!

I have heard that a lot of schools give some post-dec 1st interviews depending on how many acceptances they give out after the cycle interviews and then they give more as people decline acceptance offers. They probably take people from the wait list most of the time, but it is in the realm of possibilities.

honestly, it depends on the school. i received my official rejection from USC about 2.5 months ago. some will give you the benefit of the doubt and leave your application in their pool until the very end (i.e. USC, BU) and some will reject you faster than you can imagine (i.e. nova) if you aren't up to their standards.
