hi everybody ,

i got a rejection from pittsburgh today ......little upset
i fail to understand what are they looking ............ 🙁 😡
my stats are
part1 -91
part2 -79
toefl-278
ece-2.44
wes-3.58
i am so fed up i am starting to feel there is no light at the end of the tunnel.......only darkness..
any input i apprecaited ..by which i can improve my protfolio

Sorry to hear about your rejection, but whatever you do, don't give up. You have a great part I score, but your part 2 could be better. So I suggest that you retake part II to improve your score. Getting admission is very competitive these days, due the the large number of applicants for so limited number of spaces. It's not as easy as some people make it to be 🙄 . So don't get too disheartened. I know it's a lot easier said than done but you've got to hang in there and keep on applying. I don't know what kind of work experience you have already but you might want to take up a job as a dental assistant to improve your application. Hope that helps. Cheer up 😀

i have been observing and working as a volunteer asistant as due to my visa status no one wants to hire me (h4)
i think u r right cheer_up i should think of givng my part2 again it is just that i have already taken part1 2times but well no harm in giving one more exam

Your stats look pretty good. I thing you should apply to west coast schools.
Work on preclinical work & you should get into a school with that resume.
