Has anyone received rejections before receiving secondaries from DO schools? If you have can you name the school and your stat?

I think I got a "silent rejection" from Pikesville...Submitted my primary app to them in August/September...never received a secondary. Sent an E-mail to them, and...again got no reply....Definately dont want to go there anyhow if they wont take the time to atleast tell me.
Stats: MCATS: 25M (PS 10, VR 7, BS 8); Undergrad GPA: 3.05; Grad GPA: 3.85; Combined GPA 3.21...decent list of ECs too.

You aren't likely to get a rejection unless the school screens out primary apps. I know for sure that WVSOM and VCOM does this, but as for other schools I am not sure.

I had a similar experience. I finally just sent it in lol 🙂 I knew they weren't a school that screened for secondaries, so I figured I'd take it into my own hands. Might hurt me in the end I guess, but when I e-mailed them to see if I was complete, they said I was!

The OP was asking about rejections prior to sending in a secondary...You must have gotten a secondary, b/c I did and I have lower stats than you.

I was rejected pre-secondary from Ohio...23P (7PS, 10VR, 6BS), 3.0 science, 3.1 overall, biomedical engineering major, excellent ECs. From what the rejection letter said, they appear to strongly favor Appalachia region residents...I'm from CT.
