releasing USMLE scores

I'm sure this has been asked before but I cannot seem to find a definite answer. As a DO student, if I took both USMLE and COMLEX (scored higher on COMLEX), do I need to release them both to Allo programs? Osteo programs?

Just to clarify, they are both Step 1 scores.

If you are only applying to osteopathic programs, you don’t need to release your USMLE scores.

If you are applying to allo programs, you have to release your USMLE score if you took it. If you only apply to allo programs you don’t have to release your COMLEX, but since you did better on the COMLEX, I would. Additionally, everybody knows that DO students have to take the COMLEX. If you don’t release it, it may look like you’re hiding something.

I believe as of this coming match, all osteopathic students will have to release their USMLE scores (if they took the USMLE) to both osteopathic and allopathic residencies.
