Remedial Chemistry?

So my situation is this:

• I graduate from high school in 2 weeks (yeee!!! )
• I didnt take any chemistry classes this senior year(i took anatomy instead)
• I forgot everything about chemistry from last year

-so my question is-
is there anywhere on the internet that will help me get ready for chemistry in college? you know like, reviewing basic concepts?

I'm not sure you really need to do that. They will reteach most of it from the beginning assuming you don't know much.

still, over the summer i would like to get a refresher course without actually hiring a tutor. any good places to start (other than a library ofcourse 😀)?

Pick up a used textbook off amazon for a few bucks. I can't recommend one as it's been YEARS since I've looked in one.

I promise there is no need to review. Just enjoy your summer. The transfer from high school to college is stressful enough without adding trying to study on top of it.

I took high school chemistry twice...failed it the first time and passed with a C the second pass...general chem 1 i got a 97% in the class and was tutoring other chem 1 students...i credit most of this to having an awesome professor...but just proof that there is little if any correlation between h.s. and college chem....so don't sweat it

I'll take your word for it EMS5. I've recently talked to a few college guys and they told me that chem 1 was very basic. My HS chem teacher was also pretty amazing so I passed with an A but i don't feel like I learned much in her class to be honest lol.

They teach college chem (even the general chem for science majors) in a manner that any prior experience in chemistry will make the class a breeze.
