Hi,
It would be a great help if all current osteopathic students who interviewed for LECOM sometime can provide with some suggestions about what they were asked. It would be a great help for those that are getting interviews in next few days at FLECOM.
Answers to questions like: How many ppl interviewed you? Were they friendly? What were the main questions? In how many days did you find out? Was it stressful? And Any other suggestions?
THANKSSSSSSSSSS................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I interviewed at LECOM. The interview itself was very pleasant and informal despite the interview 'day' being a bit stress inducing mainly because they place the actual interviews at the end of everything.

We got a tour of the school, a quick video of what Erie has to offer, if I remember correctly, and a financial aid overview. On my interview day there were somewhere between 10-14 people and we all sat in a conference room while 3 seperate interview committies called individuals to interview. Some of the interviews were 1on1 but I got the group where I had 2 interviewers. One was a DO/professor and I believe the other was a teaching PhD.

I really can't recall anything out of the ordinary that was asked of me during the interview. I'll give them credit for being very friendly and for acknowledging that they knew we were in a stressful situation. The interview itself was fairly short, something on the order of 20-25 minutes. I remember they asked me a few questions about stuff I wrote in my essay, why my interest in Osteopathic medicine, whether I had a backup plan in case I didn't get accepted anywhere, etc. All in all pretty standard stuff.

In the event you didn't know this resource is availiable, check out the inerview feedback section of SDN: http://www.studentdoctor.net/interview/interview_read.asp
You can check out interviewee responses to just about every med school there is out there. Hope this helps.
