I am new to thread . I got interview for nephrology fellowship from university of kentucky lexington. can someone tell me about this program?

Hi - Need your suggestion/help to get into Nephrology Fellowhsip

I am completing my IM Residency next month. I applied last year but most of the programms were asking for research exp. which i don't have, so, i did not apply for fellowhip this year. i am trying now to do research for an year and apply for Nephrology fellowship next year.

Can you please suggest How to find a research program ( clinical or basic science ) in nephrology. ? or it is already too late to even look for a research program. ?
