Repeating the PCAT--Harder Exams???

I just took the PCAT for the third time for the June 2009 test, and I studied more this time...but i SWEAR this June exam was WAAAAYYYY harder than the last two for some reason.
I mean, the Bio was so hard...and that's what I usually score the highest in.
My essay questions were absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! Both of them actually made me chuckle out loud bc they were so off the wall compared to the last two exams.

My question is--if you repeat the exam more than once, do they start giving you harder test forms, or am I just crazy?? lol 😀
anyone else feel the same way about the june test?

i too, have taken the exam twice before the june 2009 test. I also agree that the test was harder. However, they have no way in giving you a harder test form from the previous time. all the forms are about the same and they have no way of telling (at the time of the test day) who has and has not already taken the exam.

but i am right there with you. I had scored in the 80s and 90s on the previous biology sections and knew that i aced them right after i finished the test. However, this past june test was a completly different feeling. so many random questions on stuff i have never even heard of. crazy. hopefully they were experimental questions. i hate this test!

i know...after taking it three times now, i am so burned out studying for it that i just want to bash my head through a wall!
i just couldn't believe the questions i was getting...and the chemistry in the june exam?? forget it! it might as well had been a foreign language.

Remember that a harder test means you don't need as many right answers to get a 99.

when i took the january pcat, my biology questions were really tough. i have a bachelor degree in biology, but they test you on things you see only in general biology, and each question was more detailed than the kaplan book. i am using 3 biology review books this time to improve my biology score because each book lacks. the examkracker book is good for anatomy,physiology, cell biology, and genetics. the AP biology is good for ecology, evolution, plants, and the rest. i had multiple plant questions and lots of genetic questions as well. i saw animal behavior questions and biomes, too. it wasn't fair at all.
