Hello,
I was wondering if anyone familiar with interviews can share some insight on how to note repeat yourself too much during interviews?

For example, for interviews where it's one with faculty and one with a medical student, what is the best course of action if they both ask the exact same question? I mean obviously I feel like giving a completely different answer comes off as inconsistent, but giving the same answer sounds recited too. Are questions selected beforehand to ensure that they both don't ask you too many of the exact same questions?
Thank you!

Just because you're saying/conveying the same information doesn't mean it has to sound "canned." I mean think about it---how many times have you told that "one crazy story from college or high school" to a group of people or others? Did it sound canned/boring or recited? The key is to be genuine and in the moment and not repeat your polished answer verbatim from your mental notepad.
