I just had an interview scheduled for an hour and I know this is neurotic (but maybe not) and there were about 12 minutes left and the interviewer just goes it was great talking to you and didn't ask if I had any questions. I had questions but I didn't want to be like wait can I ask you questions. Has this happened to any one else/is it a bad sign??
I can practically guarantee you that this doesn’t matter even a little bit.
I’ve sat on both sides of that interview table. I get it. But the dude was probably thinking more about what’s for dinner than how to convey “you failed” with subtlety.
Personally I find the questions portion of an interview to be a waste of time. Nearly nothing you can ask that you can’t find out by googling. So perhaps the interviewer felt the same.
