So I am applying to osteo programs and reported both my usmle and comlex scores. I submitted for the release of my COMLEX score report but not my usmle score report...i didn't do so well...1 point toward passing.

I reported both to be on the safe side. Do i have to submit the usmle score report now? I'd rather save money. hmph...

If you are applying to osteopathic programs only, then you do not need to report your USMLE scores.

If you are applying to allopathic programs, then you must release them.

i think that even if you are applying to allopathic programs you don't necessarily have to release your USMLE, as long as they accept COMLEX in lieu....

From the ERAS user guide:

Tip (osteopathic applicants only):
Before you certify your ERAS application, consider whether you will apply to ACGME and/or AOA-accredited programs. If you apply to ACGME accredited programs and you have taken the USMLE, you must report that on your CAF. If you only apply to AOA accredited programs, you do not have to report the USMLE on your CAF.
