So, I interviewed the other day. The admissions office moved around my schedule and I was left with only 5 minutes to talk with my second interviewer, whereas everyone else had 30 minutes. The admissions office said I could request another interview. Would you recommend doing this, or should I just wait and see what happens?

For me, it would depend on how well the first interview went, what was said in the second interview, how much I want to go to this school, and how much it will cost in time and money to go to another interview.

The first interview went very well. The second/shorter one was ok, not great. It's my top choice and it will cost nothing to go to another interview, other than maybe $5 gas.
I'm just wondering if it looks bad to request another one.

Don't request another one. Tell them that your second interview went short and you don't think you had the opportunity to represent yourself well. If they think it's a valid complaint they will offer you another interview.

I'm sure you're fine. If the first on went well then they can base their judgement off of that. Who knows, if you go to another interview it may go poorly, and reflect poorly on you as an applicant.

I'd just keep on living life & waiting for the acceptance call 😉

Impossible to do both 😀

IDK. I think I would call the admissions office and see what their thoughts are. Like will having only one advocate hurt you in the AdCom meeting? Will the 5 minute interviewer's thoughts count even though they clearly had no time to get to know you?

I would at least follow up with them and feel it out.

I know UTMB they told us if we felt we didn't get the most out of any of the interviews we could request an additional one.

I would just try and see what they see.

Jeesh, it doesn't cost you anything and they offered another interview. Why not take it? If nothing else, it shows you really like the school and would want to come back. In fact, I'd think it looks really bad if you didn't take their offer.

they didn't offer me another interview. i'm asking if i should go out of my way to request another one. i'm wondering if that makes me look disappointed by the two interviewers who are already probably advocating for me. it's a tricky line to walk
