It's that time of year again. Interview season.
I'm compiling a list of what should/should not be included on interviews, both for others' use, and for my blog at some point. Please, if you're adding, say why. Some of this stuff is speculation for me at this point, since the only interview I've had was in-state last year.

- $50 cash or traveler's checks, plus coins for phone calls and other emergencies
- basic toiletries, such as Tylenol, toothbrush, mouthwash, etc.
- extra shirt, in case you ruin your current one
- pad and pen/paper, with possible interview notes
- layers, depending on weather
- BLOODY UMBRELLA IN CASE IT RAINS
- map, map, map so you don't get bloody lost
- note/thank you cards with postage so you can drop it off on-campus mail if you have to, so that you won't forget
- publications/CV/resume that you may have updated in case of changes
