This is an IMG looking to get more information about the chances of doing research that I have. I did my USMLE Step1 (256) and 2 CK (260), but still have not done CS. I did some research for some months in my country, and one of the articles was published. I want to improve my resume with some research for 1 or 2 years, as my ultimate objective is to match in IM, and in cardiology after that.
I want to know what chances do I have to get a position as a research fellow in the US (I do not require visa), right now I am in Boston.
