Hey guys I'm planning on applying in August. I wanted to ask a question about Research credits. I've been doing research for a neuroscience professor for the last two years and when I apply I'll have 9 credits that have come from his research alone. Do all of those count toward the science GPA or how does that work? Thanks

Maybe anyone who already applied with science research credits have any ideas?

I labeled all of mine as Biology, and i had no problems w/ it. Here is what mine looked like after i put it in:

Special Problems in Biology - BIOL 493 Biology 1.00 P None N/A Regular

Awesome, does it matter that I have 9 credits, do you know if they all count?

I had 6 credits for independent research and I put them under my Sci gpa. No questions were asked and I just filled them in on the AACPM application as they were on my transcript.

The credits will definitely count and if you received a grade for it that grade will be included in your science gpa calculation. It probably shouldn't count for your science gpa, but it certainly improved mine and the research experience is probably just as important as some basic science courses.

yea, i had like 9 or 10 so and they all counted!
