Hey guys, I'm trying to make a resume to turn in when asking to shadow at vet clinics. I was wondering if it's necessary for me to put in "Leadership Experience", "Honors/awards" and "Skills" sections (which are typically in resumes) if they aren't animal related? I'm asking this mainly because my "Objective", "Education" and "Animal Experience" sections already take up a whole page and I'd like to keep the resume length to a page.

Hi pomeranian! I think that including those experiences, skills, and awards definitely couldn't hurt. I heard that you should try to keep your resume to one page length, however, this does not seem plausible many times because people tend to have a lot of stuff to list. In addition, if you're posting your resume online I was told that a resume greater than a page length wouldn't matter because someone would just scroll down the page anyways. If you don't list those other experiences, skills, and awards on your resume, you could just talk about them in an interview to highlight yourself. Hope that helps!
