I took differential equation in my freshman year and ended up with a C.. it's not required by my major (biochem), should I retake the course?

are you certain you can make an A this time? if you make an A you'll have an average of a B, if you make a B you'll average like a B-/C+. if it's just the one class i don't think i would worry about it.

It won't move your GPA by much if you do re-take it even if you get an A this time. It doesn't seem worth it IMO.

I got 2 C's my freshman fall semester and did not retake them. I also got a D the same semester in Gen Chem 1, but I retook that the next year.

Don't worry about it. It won't even affect your BCP GPA. It'd be better to focus that time in taking upper level sciences and earning A's in those.

I would recommend you don't. Save your money. A 'C' is still passing just get ready to explain it in your interview if asked about it.
