Retake part 1 or give part 2?

Hi eveyone!!
My part 1 score is 84. I gave that in june end. gpa is 3.03 and toefl ibt 89. now I am confused weather I should retake part 1 or start preparing for part 2?
please help me ..I will really appreciate yr reply.

I think that you can try to apply this year with this score but you absolutely need to improve your Toefl score. The score that you have is not competitive. WHile awaiting for interviews, you can start studying again and improve your Part I score. Aim to get at least 86-87 and than you can try taking Part II. Good luck!

I know that my toefl score is not good . I am tring to improve it. in this forum I have seen some guys who have comleted part 2 and have less score in part 1 got interview from uni colorado. Now even if I retake part 1 then It willl help me to apply for 2010 not for 2009. So I am thinking that If I take part 2 then it will improve my profile and have chance to apply for colorado, and If I will not get any interview then I will retake part 1.........
What I think is ok or not?

Dont retake part one...first take your part 2 ..that way you will have more colleges open where u can apply. 84 in new pattern is not bad. I say give ur part 2 first. rest is upto u.. I also have my part 1 84 but old pattern. even Im planiing on taking part 2 now. Looking for the soft material for part 2 at the moment. if u fidn any I would be grateful if you could share it with me. thanks

I think your part I score is above 85, and it's in a good standing already. I used to talk to the admission committee at a US dental school, and their primary concern seems to be the passing score as opposed to a super high score. So in my opinion, I'd say you should proceed to part II exam.

i gave part 1 in may..got 83,gpa is 3.58 n toefl is 103,,,i m plannin to retake...but do i have any chances of getin in newyork...i have 1 year experience also...
