Hey all,

I took the 5/19 test but voided because i did not feel prepared going into it. I've been studying non-stop since then and have been seeing improvement and wanted input on how my schedule looks. I'm taking my new test on 6/29. Here are my scores in order taken:

AAMC sample (3/26/17): 63% (53/77/58/76)
Section bank: PS (4/15) - 62%, BB (4/22) - 42%, CP (4/30) - 52%
NS 1 untimed (4/27): 506 (127/125/126/128)
NS 2 (5/2): 499: (125/125/124/125)
Bio QP 1(5/4): 65%
Bio QP 2 (5/5): 72%
AAMC FL 1 (5/7): 497 :( (125/121/126/125) (this is why I knew i wasn't ready)
NS 3 (5/23): 502 (125/123/127/127)
EK 4 (6/12): 63% (61/64/53/73)
Section bank retake: PS (6/15): 75%, BB (6/16): 73%

My schedule for the following days is:

6/17 -Review BB SB/CP Section Bank/Start CP BB Review
6/18 - Finish BB SB review/ Finish CARS QP 1
6/19 Retake Sample test? (or should I do EK1/NS4?)
6/20 - Review Test taken
6/21 - OG Questions/Finish Chem Q bank
6/22 - Stuck here too, retake AAMC FL 1 or NS4/EK1?
6/23 - Review test
6/24 - Physics Qp/Start CARS QP 2
6/25 - Finish CARS Qpack 2
6/26- AAMC FL 2
6/27 - Review test
6/28 - SPA DAY
6/29 - MCAT

Sorry for the long post, but what do ya'll think? I need help with days 6/19 and 6/22. Should I take AAMC FL2 Earlier? I'm really aiming for a 505+, do ya'll think it's possible? (I'm a URM, 3.87 cGPA, 3.9 sGPA - applying MD)

Bumping this cuz I need some guidance I retook the cp section bank on Saturday and I got a 73%. I'm gonna retake the sample test (unscored) today. What should I do for 6/22? Is it better to take AAMC FL 2 a week before test or 3 days before test like I have it on my schedule?

I would suggest focusing on CARS... it seems like you really struggles with AAMC FL 1 and it really plays a role in the entire test, especially when nerves are high on test day.. Did you complete the CARS Qpacks? I would spend a lot of time working on your reading comprehension, focusing during CARS and understanding their reasoning.. It will give you a certain intuition that will net you points across all the sections.. Practice highlighting important words in the questions and eliminating (striking out) wrong answers.. Do this for all the sections and you should see a nice increase in your score... As many people have said: MCAT is a reading comp test and if you are struggling in CARS its likely costing you several points overall.. If you do this I think your schedule is manageable... PM if you want some additional advice on improving those areas I mentioned.... Good Luck
